INDEPENDENT PUBLISHING

Independent publishing, also known as self-publishing, is when an author is responsible for publishing their work.

For example, I am attempting to manage all aspects of the publishing process, including writing, editing, cover design, formatting, marketing, and distribution.

I use Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing to print and distribute my books in print and digital formats. It’s a great way for a novice to get started, and my background in computers helps me learn how it all works!

The speeches I wrote for Toastmasters were usually well received. I hope speech writing will contribute to storytelling!

My lifelong passion for creative writing has earned me the nickname ‘Keyboard’ from friends because I spend a lot of time on the computer! I have also been an IT nerd for over 30 years!
