A Poem for Easter

This Easter falls on the first Sunday of the month, which also happens to be, the day of the local monthly Gospel Hour that Michelle and I have been attending. I wrote these lyrics to honor my new friends and the beautiful, heartfelt music they create.

Spring’s Rebirth

As spring rebirths repaint the world,
Easter’s promise shines bright for those who serve.

It’s a time of renewal hope and grace,
Filling our souls with a kind embrace.

Let Christ’s light rise and guide our way,
Inspiring us to live each blessed day.

With grateful hearts may we always see,
The gift of salvation eternally.
