2019: A Year of Upheaval
I was “Let go” from a job I worked for over 19 years. They said it was performance-related, but I know it was for other (political) reasons. Plus, I told a Senior VP they could save a lot of money by replacing me with an intern. In addition, I hated the job now, and my disability wasn’t helping matters. Fuck this shit.
We plan to sell our home and relocate. After much work and expense to get ready, the house is not worth what we hoped for.
Broken bones from a car accident. It was not my fault, but a girl died, which naturally weighed heavy on my mind. Lost my truck, too.
Symptoms of my inherited disability have worsened, making it difficult for me to walk. I have lived with this my whole life, finally diagnosed around age 30, but now it is becoming much more challenging just to do the usual shit, like butter a piece of damn bread.
We lost our dog, Jupiter, to cancer. Jupiter is sorely missed. As the “class clown” at obedience school, he brought joy to many folks.
